Laura’s Story

“THIS WAS MY GAME­CHANGER”

My name is Laura Wontorra, and I’m a sports reporter. Even though the word “sports” is in my job title, I have to admit that in recent years, I didn’t prioritize fitness in my own life. My biggest challenge was building a consistent routine into my busy schedule, which often includes business travel.

The first COVID lockdown gave me the push I needed to make a change. That’s when I connected with Vaha Flow and my coach Janika Merz — and one year later, I can proudly say: this was my gamechanger!
Losing weight or looking like an Instagram fitness model was never my goal. I simply wanted to feel fitter, more agile, and truly healthy again.

Janika has been — and continues to be — the perfect coach for me. She helps tailor workouts that suit my lifestyle, offers great tips on nutrition and health, and has managed to keep me motivated to train every single week for nearly 12 months. She’s taught me consistency — and for that alone, she deserves an Oscar!

What I also really appreciate about her is her contagious positivity and emotional intelligence. She knows exactly how to adjust training to meet my individual needs each week. As a TV host, posture is also crucial for me, and I’ve seen incredible progress here through small but effective adjustments.

Plus, Janika is very flexible and adapts well to my hectic schedule. I’m truly grateful for the fun and impactful sessions we’ve shared so far, and I hope she keeps kicking my butt for years to come — turning me into a real fitness pro.
